Timing and evidence

IDP Australia needs at least six weeks after all documents are submitted and approved, and suggests contacting the test venue before booking so it can advise on the next available date (IDP Australia). ielts.org says your centre may ask for a medical certificate and that all requests are subject to approval (ielts.org).

Outside Australia, ask your centre to confirm in writing that there is no extra charge. Detailed rules are set locally and can differ by country and test centre, so check your booking confirmation or ask your centre if anything here does not match what you were told.
