Other ways to meet the requirement
Language training at an approved centre counts. So does a secondary or high school diploma from a TOEFL-exempt country, or at least one year of full-time university study (24 credit hours with a 2.0 GPA) in an exempt country.
Students for whom English is a second language but who have strong English may submit ACT 21 composite or SAT 1060 instead of a language test.
