What to send
IBAT asks for a completed application form, educational documents, a passport copy and a valid IELTS or equivalent certificate. It maps international qualifications to the Irish framework using the Irish Qualification Recognition Service and the UK's NARIC. The page names no PTE, TOEFL or Duolingo scores, so ask admissions which equivalents it accepts.
IBAT's page says applicants who need a visa should use an education agent, and it lists €10,000 as the savings figure for higher-education students.

Offers and English courses
After review, IBAT sends a provisional offer letter, which becomes a final offer once you meet any outstanding requirements. IBAT also runs general English and IELTS preparation courses in Dublin.
Requirements vary by programme and change between intakes. The score that binds you is the one on your IBAT programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where IBAT College Dublin publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
