Visa English requirements

What IELTS score do you need for a NZ Specific Purpose Work Visa?

Only independent professionals working in an ANZSCO skill level 3 role need to show English, with IELTS 4 overall or an equivalent. Immigration New Zealand sets no English requirement for independent professionals at skill level 1 or 2, or for any other Specific Purpose Work Visa purpose or event. Citizenship or a qualification from an English-speaking country can also count.
