Do you get a free IELTS course when you book with IDP?

IDP says the courses cover IELTS Academic and General Training, were developed by English language experts from the Macquarie University IELTS test centre, and include study materials, sample test questions with model answers and over 60 guided video tutorials. Depending on the package, you may get up to 14 sample writing assessments with model responses (IDP).

By skill, IDP describes: Speaking lessons on Parts 1, 2 and 3 with sample questions and candidate videos; Writing lessons on analysing Task 1 visuals and structuring each Task 2 question type against the four marking criteria; Listening lessons by section with mock listening tests; and Reading lessons on each of the 14 question types followed by mock tests. There are discussion forums with other learners.

Outside the booking offer, IDP says you can choose an Academic or General Training package with 1, 2 or 4 skills, with a maximum study period of one year (IDP). The page does not list prices, so check them before you buy.

Because the free window is short, plan when to start it: a single skill for 30 days suits steady work on your weakest skill, while the four-day all-skills option is short enough to fit the last days before the test.
