IELTS Online works slightly differently

IELTS Online at home also lets you make notes on screen, but no pen and paper are allowed. You can go back and change answers within the same section while time remains, and you cannot open other programs or browsers (ielts.org). ielts.org notes that the practice versions do not behave exactly like the live test: the timer, highlighting and notes work differently.
