If your English score is lower

The Bachelor of Technology pages say students who do not meet the English requirement may have to take additional English modules before or alongside the programme, at the university's discretion. INTI also runs an Intensive English Programme and an IELTS training course.

The programme pages note that international students must meet requirements reflecting similar qualifications and experience to those listed. PTE and Duolingo are not named on the pages read, though several say 'or equivalent'.

INTI's international fee for the MBA is listed on the MBA page, which runs one year full time. Requirements differ even within one faculty, so open the page for your exact programme before you book IELTS.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your INTI programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.

Minimum vs competitive score

Where INTI International University publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.

Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.

The Bachelor of Technology degrees read ask IELTS 5.0; other bachelor's degrees may differ.

Can I study at INTI with IELTS 5.5?+

Yes for the Master of Biotechnological Innovations and Application and for programmes set at 5.0. IT, AI and MBA programmes ask 6.0.

Does INTI accept TOEFL?+

Yes. The Master in IT accepts TOEFL 550, the MSc AI accepts TOEFL iBT 60, and the BTech in Intelligent Manufacturing accepts TOEFL 500.
