AIM TOEFL rules
AIM gives no 0 to 120 TOEFL figures. For TOEFL tests taken before 21 January 2026, it points applicants to a comparison scale on the same page to interpret their scores.
For comparison, the same page asks IELTS Academic 6.0 (no band below 5.5) for undergraduate and 6.5 (no band below 6.0) for postgraduate courses.

If your TOEFL score falls short
AIM also accepts completion of an approved English for Academic Purposes program, and treats some applicants with Australian Year 12 or AQF Level 4 study in English as meeting the requirement. Contact AIM for details of accepted EAP courses.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your AIM programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
