Online tests and other certificates
H-BRS lists IELTS Online, PTE Academic Online and TOEFL iBT Home Edition alongside the centre-based tests. The list is not exhaustive: if you hold another internationally recognised certificate, contact the Registrar's Office to check whether it is accepted. Duolingo is not on the list.

Autonomous Systems
The MSc Autonomous Systems takes applications from 15 November to 15 May for the winter semester through the Apollo portal, and only the semester fee is payable.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your H-BRS programme page and in your offer, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.

Duolingo is not on the H-BRS list. Contact the Registrar's Office about certificates that are not listed.
