How Cardiff Met handles TOEFL scores
Cardiff Met accepts TOEFL iBT MyBest scores but not the Home Edition. Tests on this page must be dated within two years of the course start date. The page does not give an institution code.
For comparison, the same page sets IELTS Academic at 6.0 with no component below 5.5 for the lower level, and 6.5 with 6.5 in reading and writing and 6.0 in the others for the higher level.

If your TOEFL score is below Cardiff Met's level
The tests page does not describe conditional offers or pre-sessional entry with TOEFL. Cardiff Met also lists accepted English qualifications by country and other recognised qualifications on related pages, which may give you another route.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Cardiff Met programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
