Do employers accept IELTS General Training?

Many do. IDP says many employers accept IELTS General Training because it tests everyday English skills, and lists working in an English-speaking country, or getting another job in your own country, among its uses. ielts.org says employers in finance, government, construction, energy, aviation and tourism may require IELTS. IDP advises checking with your workplace which test it wants.
