What IELTS score do you need for East Tennessee State University?

Undergraduates are exempt as citizens of listed English-speaking countries such as Canada, Ghana and the United Kingdom, after at least one year as an exchange student in, or graduation from, a US high school, or with two semesters of college-level English composition at an accredited US institution with a C or better. ACT 19, SAT 500 and several other tests are also accepted.

Graduate applicants are exempt after at least four years of English-medium education at upper high school level or higher in a listed country, or with a degree from an accredited US institution. The Graduate School may waive the test in rare circumstances, such as two years of full-time US study within the past five years with a 3.0 GPA.

Graduate students with an assistantship or tuition scholarship take a free Oral Proficiency Exam on arrival. The page does not state how long scores stay valid.
