Edith Cowan College TOEFL rules

The page gives TOEFL iBT on the 0 to 120 scale with all four section minimums. For the higher-English streams it also sets the English level you must reach after the ECC program to move into the ECU degree, given as IELTS or an equivalent.

TOEFL iBT score reports from January 2026 also carry a 1 to 6 band score; our guide to the new TOEFL score scale explains how the two scales appear on a report.

For comparison, the same page asks IELTS 5.5 with no band less than 5.0 for Foundation and diplomas, and 6.0 with no band less than 6.0 for the Post-Graduate Qualifying Program.
