ELTE TOEFL iBT figures by programme
ELTE publishes language requirements on each programme page. Four representative examples: Biology MSc, Psychology BA, English Studies MA and International Relations BA.

Test rules at ELTE
The programme pages give score ranges rather than one central rule and do not mention the Home Edition, MyBest scores, validity or an institution code. For the same programmes, IELTS is 5.5 for the Biology MSc and the International Relations BA, 6.5 for the Psychology BA and 7.0 for the English Studies MA.

If your TOEFL score falls short
Several ELTE programmes accept other proof. The Biology MSc accepts a certificate that your bachelor's was completed entirely in English, the Psychology BA accepts secondary school studies in English, and the International Relations BA assesses English at the admission interview if you have no certificate.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your ELTE programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.

It depends on the programme: for example 72 for the Biology MSc, 79 to 93 for the Psychology BA and 95 to 120 for the English Studies MA.
Can I study at ELTE without a TOEFL score?+
