What IELTS score do you need for Ewha Womans University?

TOEFL iBT Home Edition is accepted, MyBest scores are not, and the guide accepts IELTS Indicator. Scores must remain valid until the final admission decision on 18 December 2026. If offered preliminary admission, TOEFL takers must request an institutional score report to code 8229.

If you studied at a school in an English-speaking country, its graduation certificate or transcript with the school address is enough proof of English-medium schooling.

Undergraduates, including those admitted on English scores, must reach TOPIK level 4 before graduation, except in the Division of International Studies. Ewha warns that outside that division more courses may be taught in Korean than English, and that even International Studies has some mandatory liberal arts courses in Korean. Freshmen outside International Studies and Nursing spend at least a year in the Global Scholars Program.
