Test rules at HKUST
The table asks for a total score achieved in one sitting, so section scores from different test dates cannot be combined. It does not set section minimums, and it does not mention the Home Edition, MyBest scores or an ETS institution code.
In the same table, HKUST asks IELTS Academic 6.0 overall.

If your TOEFL score falls short
The same document lists many other ways to meet the requirement, including IB English, IGCSE or GCSE English, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 590 and Duolingo 125. It does not describe a conditional or pre-sessional route.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your HKUST programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
