Pearson's test centre finder listed one PTE centre in Turkmenistan on 30 October 2026: Akylly Tilsimat in Ashgabat. PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI and PTE Core all cost USD 210, and PTE Home A1, A2 and B1 cost USD 175. If your university, employer or visa accepts PTE, this is the only English test of the two you can take without leaving the country.

How to book, what ID to bring, and when results arrive
IELTS: neither the British Council's booking system nor IDP listed a test in Turkmenistan on 29 and 30 October 2026, so IELTS means travelling to a neighbouring country.
