IELTS test centres in Tbilisi
The British Council's booking system listed 56 IELTS Academic on computer sessions on 33 days between 30 October to 31 December 2026 at the Training Centre of Justice of Georgia, run by British Council Tbilisi, starting 31 October. All were priced at GEL 760. Day counts are for IELTS Academic on computer in the British Council's booking system; General Training uses the same sessions.
IDP runs no IELTS in Georgia: its Georgia pages return "page not found". The only other British Council venue in the country is in Batumi (see our Batumi guide).

How to book, what ID to bring, and when results arrive
IELTS: book online with the British Council, choose Georgia and then the city, and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. Bring the same passport or ID you entered when booking.
PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your ID, choose the test, then Tbilisi, the centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport, and Georgia is not on its list of countries where another ID is accepted.
Results: both IELTS providers give 1 to 5 days for IELTS on computer, and Pearson sends PTE scores typically within 48 hours (PTE scoring). Before you pay, take a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test to check you are ready.
