OCNZ English requirement
From the OCNZ applicant's guide for overseas osteopaths with qualifications not recognised by the OCNZ (dated August 2016 and still linked from the Council's overseas applicants page). It says some applicants may qualify for an exemption under the full English language policy, but does not list those exemptions.

What the guide does not say
The guide names only IELTS Academic. It does not mention OET, PTE or TOEFL, an overall score, how old results can be, or whether a One Skill Retake counts. Ask the Council before relying on any other test.

Recognised and non-recognised qualifications
The Council's overseas applicants page says it does not accredit overseas osteopathic qualifications. Applicants without a recognised qualification submit a capabilities assessment with their registration application, and assessors compare the qualification with New Zealand standards. New registrants hold an annual practising certificate with a "Preceptorship" condition. Regulators change these rules, sometimes at short notice. Confirm the current scores on the OCNZ page before you book a test.
