Who needs no test
KLU says you do not need a language test with a bachelor's degree from an English-speaking curriculum, a high school degree with English as the curriculum language, or native-speaker status from Canada (excluding Québec), the UK, Ireland, Australia, the US or New Zealand. Score reports should not be older than two years at application. Duolingo is not listed.

Conditional admission and deadlines
You can apply without a test result and be admitted conditionally. KLU asks for the score ideally by 31 August, and at the latest by 15 January, the end of your first semester. For the Master in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management, non-EU applicants should apply by 31 May, the programme starts on 1 September, and tuition is EUR 8,800 per semester.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your KLU programme page and in your offer, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where Kühne Logistics University (KLU) publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
