Listening, Reading and Writing
Listening moves from seven unfinished dialogues, through five short academic conversations and a lecture or podcast with note completion (up to three words a gap), to a group discussion with six multiple-choice questions. Reading includes vocabulary items, a gapped text with six sentences removed, four short texts on one theme and a longer argumentative text (LanguageCert).
In Writing, Task 1 carries 40% of the Writing marks and Task 2 60% (LanguageCert handbook).

Speaking and test day
Speaking has four parts: questions about you, two academic role plays, reading a short text aloud after 20 seconds' preparation, and a two-minute presentation after one minute's preparation, each with follow-up questions (LanguageCert).
You can take the test at a test centre or online with live proctoring. For an Australian visa you must use a test centre, and for a UK visa needing a SELT you take LanguageCert Academic SELT at a UKVI-approved centre (LanguageCert FAQ). The handbook says the test exists on computer and on paper, with computer as the default (handbook). Rules and fees change. Check the test owner's own page for your country before you book or pay. This guide is general information, not official advice from the test owner.
