What TOEFL score do you need for Ohio State University?

Graduate applicants must have official scores sent directly by ETS by the application deadline, using institution code 1592. Ohio State does not accept MyBest TOEFL scores. TOEFL scores are valid for two years; if Ohio State receives official scores for an application and they expire before the programme starts, they still meet the requirement.

If you are awarded a Graduate Teaching Associateship and English is not your first language, you must certify your oral English proficiency before taking up associateship duties. Most admitted international students also take the online Academic English Writing Assessment before arrival.

The undergraduate page points to the American Language Program, which needs a separate application, and says Ohio State does not offer conditional admission to students who enrol in it. The graduate page says no test waivers or new country exemptions are being granted this academic year.
