What TOEFL score do you need for Truman State University?

Official scores must be sent by the testing agency directly to Truman State University. The undergraduate section gives the figure on the 0 to 120 scale only; new TOEFL score reports also carry a 1 to 6 score, explained in our guide to the new TOEFL score scale.

For comparison, Truman asks for IELTS 6.5 at both levels, or 7.0 for Nursing applicants.

Applicants who cannot show English proficiency may apply as conditional students. They must complete a Level 9 certificate at The Language Company, or an approved alternative ESL programme in the US, before full admission. Visiting and exchange students cannot apply conditionally. Transferring English Composition credit from a US university also meets the requirement.
