From UEA's English language equivalencies page, which lists TOEFL iBT/iBT26 "including Special Home Edition" and shows each figure as old scale/new scale. UEA calls these typical minimums and says some courses ask for more, so check your course page. How UEA handles TOEFL scores

Every TOEFL level on the page is valid for two years from the course start date. UEA accepts the Special Home Edition. The page does not mention MyBest scores or a TOEFL institution code.

For comparison, the same page sets its typical IELTS Academic level at 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each component, the level that sits alongside TOEFL 79 or 4.

If your TOEFL score is below UEA's level

The equivalencies page lists INTO UEA English as an accepted qualification at the same levels (60% overall with 55% in each component at the typical level), but it does not describe conditional offers for a low TOEFL score. Ask admissions about your options before you resit.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UEA programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
