How UAA handles TOEFL scores
UAA lists the TOEFL as one of several ways to prove English proficiency, with separate minimums by degree level. The page points to UAA's English Proficiency Requirements page for more detail.

For comparison, UAA asks for IELTS 6.0 for associate and bachelor's applicants and 6.5 for master's and doctoral applicants.

If your TOEFL score is below UAA's level
A completed waiver form is accepted as one of the proofs of English proficiency for those who qualify. Associate and bachelor's applicants can also use the Duolingo English Test or PTE Academic.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UAA programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
