If your TOEFL score is below UCalgary's level

The Academic Communication Certificate (ACC) is UCalgary's English pathway. Students registered in the ACC may be eligible for conditional admission to a degree programme; it takes 4 to 11 months depending on your English level and carries 6 units of transfer credit. Graduate studies also accepts the ACC with a minimum of B+ in each course.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UCalgary programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
