University of Warsaw TOEFL test rules

The page lists the TOEFL internet-based test (iBT) from ETS. For the second list, it says documents must certify English at B2 or higher in all four skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing. The page does not mention the Home Edition, MyBest scores, validity or an institution code.

New TOEFL iBT score reports also carry a 1 to 6 score alongside the 0 to 120 total; see the new TOEFL score scale explained.

For comparison, the same page lists IELTS at a minimum of 5.5.

If your TOEFL score is below Warsaw's level

The first list includes other routes such as a University of Warsaw Foundation Year certificate at B2 or higher, a secondary school certificate showing English as the language of instruction, or a degree taught in English. Some fields of study set a higher threshold for the Polish maturity exam in their detailed rules.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your University of Warsaw programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
