Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction regarding the medical care I received during my recent admission to the General Surgery Department from 12th to 15th October.

My primary concern involves the significant lack of communication and hygiene. During my stay, nurses frequently failed to administer my prescribed pain medication on schedule, often leaving me in acute distress for hours. Furthermore, the bedding in my room was not changed throughout the duration of my four-day stay, despite my repeated requests to the nursing staff. This lack of basic sanitary maintenance was both distressing and unprofessional.

To prevent such lapses from recurring, I suggest that the hospital implements a mandatory digital tracking system for medication administration to ensure staff accountability. Additionally, a stricter audit of room hygiene standards should be conducted by floor managers daily to ensure that all patient areas remain clean and welcoming.

I trust that you will investigate these matters thoroughly to improve the quality of patient care at your facility. I look forward to your prompt response regarding this serious issue.

Yours faithfully,

Arthur P. Henderson
