Abilene Christian TOEFL minimums by level
From ACU's international undergraduate page and international graduate application information.

How Abilene Christian handles TOEFL scores
ACU needs an official score sent by the testing entity to test code 6001. The reading and writing minimums apply in addition to the total, so check both sections, not only the overall score.
TOEFL iBT score reports from January 2026 also carry a 1 to 6 band score; our guide to the new TOEFL score scale explains how the two scales appear on a report.
For comparison, the undergraduate page and the graduate page both ask for IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 or above in reading and writing.

If your TOEFL score is below Abilene Christian's level
Neither page describes conditional admission or an English pathway for a low score. Undergraduates can instead show citizenship of an English-proficiency exempt country, and graduate applicants a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited US institution.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Abilene Christian programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
