Other ways to show English
Undergraduates can also use GCE higher level English at grade C or above, SAT 450 or above, ACT 15 or above, the IB Diploma, MSU-CELP, the Michigan Proficiency Certificate or Cambridge Proficiency.
Graduate applicants can use graduation from an accredited English-language college or institution. PTE and Duolingo are not listed for graduate entry.

Placement test and conditional admission
If you have none of the listed certificates, you take ACG's English Placement Test. For graduate programmes, TOEFL and IELTS scores are valid for two years, TOEFL scores must come directly from ETS (institution code 0925), and applicants below the minimums may be admitted conditionally at the Graduate Program Coordinator's discretion.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your ACG programme page and in your offer, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where The American College of Greece (ACG) publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
