ARU TOEFL minimums by level
From ARU's international entry requirements page. Some courses have higher requirements, so check your course page.

ARU TOEFL test rules
ARU says TOEFL iBT taken at a test centre is one of its preferred tests. Where in-person testing is difficult, it will consider the TOEFL iBT Home Edition at the same score requirements. It assesses TOEFL iBT MyBest scores on an individual basis, and says most English tests are valid for two years. The page does not give an ETS institution code.

For comparison, the same page sets IELTS (Academic) at 6.0 with 5.5 in each skill for undergraduate courses and 6.5 with 5.5 in each skill for postgraduate courses.

If your TOEFL score is below ARU's level
For a pre-sessional English course or a course below degree level, ARU says Student visa applicants must take a UKVI Secure English Language Test (SELT), so TOEFL will not cover that step. Applicants in the UK can also take ARU's own English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT).
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your ARU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
