What the page does not say
The page does not list Duolingo, give a score validity period or name any exemptions, for example for an English-medium degree. If you studied in English, ask the school before you book a test. Its admissions contact is somadmissions@ait.asia.
The Writing minimum is the part most applicants miss. An overall 6.5 with Writing 5.5 would not meet it.

Other AIT schools
AIT's engineering and environment programmes publish their own eligibility pages, which we could not load today. Check the page for your school and programme rather than assuming the School of Management figure applies.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your AIT programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
