What PTE score do you need for Austin Peay State University?

Under the Pearson PTE Academic entry the page says the online version is also accepted. Scores must be sent directly from the testing agency to the university, and test scores are valid for two years. The page does not mention PTE Core or give a Pearson code.

On the same list, IELTS is 5.5, TOEFL iBT 3.5 (61 before January 2026) and Duolingo 85. TOEFL ITP scores are not accepted.

Students who do not meet the minimum can be admitted to the APSU English Language Institute's Intensive English Program, offered online and in person, and students who do well in the ELI University Transfer Track at Level 5 may receive a waiver. Undergraduates with a full four-year US-equivalent high school degree, and graduate applicants with a US-equivalent undergraduate degree of at least three years, do not need to submit a test. One semester of English composition at an accredited US college with a C or better also counts.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your APSU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
