What PTE score do you need for Avans University of Applied Sciences?

Avans does not accept TOEFL iBT Home Edition or IELTS Online and adds that only tests taken at an examination centre are considered, so book a centre-based PTE Academic. Pearson scores more than two years old at the start of the programme are not accepted. The page does not mention PTE Core or a sending method.

On the same table, IELTS Academic needs 6.0 overall and TOEFL iBT 80 (before 21 January 2026) or 4.5 (from that date).

You are exempt with a Dutch HAVO, MBO4 or VWO diploma, the IB Diploma or Careers-Related Programme, a BTEC 3 extended programme, a diploma from a country on the Dutch Code of Conduct list, or entire prior education in the US, Australia, Canada (not Quebec), New Zealand, the UK or Ireland. The page describes no pre-sessional route.
