Birkbeck TOEFL minimums

How Birkbeck handles TOEFL scores
Birkbeck accepts the TOEFL iBT but not the Home Edition. The score must be no more than two years old; for October starts it must be no older than two years on 1 June, and for January starts on 1 September. The page does not mention MyBest scores or an institution code.
For comparison, the same page sets the standard IELTS Academic requirement at 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in each sub-test.

If your TOEFL score is below Birkbeck's level
Birkbeck runs a combined eight-week Pre-Sessional and In-Sessional English Programme to help you reach its entry requirements. If you already held a UK study visa for a course at RQF level 6 or above, your case may be referred to an admissions tutor, who may still ask for a valid test.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Birkbeck programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
