What PTE score do you need for Butler University?

Butler is one of the few universities that names PTE Academic Online on its page, so the at-home version counts. PTE Core is not mentioned. The page gives school codes for TOEFL (1073), SAT (1073) and ACT (1180) but none for PTE, and it states no validity period.

On the same page, IELTS is 6.0, TOEFL iBT 79, Duolingo 100, MET 55 and MELAB 80. SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 500 or ACT English 19 also meet the requirement.

Butler's page lists other ways in: a grade A or B in GCE or GCSE English, IB English HL at 5 to 7, or the SAT and ACT scores above. Applicants from a list of countries, including Australia and several Caribbean nations, may not need TOEFL. The page does not describe conditional admission.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Butler programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
