What TOEFL score do you need for Cal State East Bay?

The English proficiency page says TOEFL Essentials and TOEFL MyBest scores are not accepted, and that test scores are only valid for two years from the exam date. The graduate page repeats that Essentials is not accepted. Neither page gives an institution code.

For comparison, the English proficiency page sets IELTS Academic at 6 for undergraduates and 6.5 for graduates.

The first-year admission requirements page offers conditional admission to academically qualified undergraduates who have not met the English requirement. They receive a conditional admission letter and attend the Global Academy Intensive English Program until they meet the language requirement.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Cal State East Bay programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
