What Duolingo score do you need for Calvin University?

Undergraduates send Duolingo results by choosing Calvin University as the receiving school, and Calvin says scores must be original or certified copies. English evidence is considered alongside the rest of the admission file.

Graduate applicants submit their English test score after applying, by email to graduate admissions or by post. Neither page gives subscores, a validity period or a teaching assistant rule.

For comparison, the undergraduate page sets IELTS at 6.5 and the graduate page sets IELTS at 7.0.

Neither page describes conditional admission. Undergraduates can show proficiency in other ways: two or more years at a US or IB high school, a semester of credit at a US college, schooling in a listed English-speaking country, SAT or ACT, an ELS certificate or Cambridge results.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Calvin programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
