What Duolingo score do you need for Central Connecticut State University?

Applicants whose native language is not English must submit one accepted test: TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo or, for first-year applicants, Pearson PTE 59. Neither page gives Duolingo subscores, a validity period or sending instructions.

The graduate page says no financial aid is available for non-US students at present, though graduate assistantships may be available to international students who can interview on campus; it sets no separate English score for them.

For comparison, the first-year page and the graduate page both set IELTS at a band score of 6.5.

Neither page describes conditional admission or an English pathway. Your options are another accepted test at CCSU's level: TOEFL iBT 79 (4.5 on the new scale) at either level, or PTE 59 for first-year applicants.
