What TOEFL score do you need for City College of New York?

The graduate FAQ says scores count as official only when sent directly from ETS, are valid for two years from the test date, and go to City College institution code 2083. Applicants with a digital score report can upload it to the application for review. CUNY's graduate international students page also lists City College under TOEFL code 2083.

A degree from a foreign institution taught in English does not exempt you; the FAQ says those applicants still need the minimum TOEFL score. Natives of countries where English is the official language and holders of a degree from such a country are exempt.

For comparison, the graduate FAQ sets IELTS at 6.5 alongside the 61 TOEFL minimum, and CUNY's undergraduate table lists IELTS 6 for City College.
