What Duolingo score do you need for Dallas Baptist University?

Applicants who are not US citizens or permanent residents apply through the International Admissions and Immigration Office, not the regular admissions offices. Both catalogs ask for an official Duolingo English Test result. Neither gives a validity period or teaching assistant rule.

Applicants from listed English-speaking countries do not have to prove English ability. At both levels DBU may waive the requirement for students who previously studied in the US, and may interview and test them.

For comparison, the undergraduate catalog sets IELTS at 6.0 with no band lower than 5, and the graduate catalog sets IELTS 6 with no band lower than 5.5.

Both catalogs list completing DBU's Intensive English Program as a way to meet the English requirement, and the IEP page says no TOEFL or IELTS is needed to join. Both catalogs also accept passing the highest level of an accredited US university or CEA or ACCET accredited ESL programme.
