Deakin College TOEFL iBT minimums
From the English language entry table on Deakin College's English requirements page. The 0 to 120 scores apply from 7 August 2025, and the 1 to 6 scores from 21 January 2026.

Deakin College TOEFL rules
TOEFL iBT tests taken between 26 July 2023 and 4 May 2024 are not accepted. Tests taken on or before 6 August 2025 are assessed against the previous entry requirement. English test evidence must be no more than two years old when you start at Deakin College.
Students with Indian or Nepali citizenship need IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5) or equivalent for the diplomas.
For comparison, the same table asks IELTS 5.5 with no band below 5.0 for diplomas and the Standard Foundation Program.

If your TOEFL score falls short
Deakin University English Language Institute (DUELI) EAP 2 meets diploma and Foundation entry and EAP 3 meets MQP entry. All Deakin College diplomas include a free, compulsory Language Development Module (LDM100) unless you are exempt.
