Exemptions

For the MSc programmes and the 2-year MSc track, proof that English was your language of study or work for at least a year is accepted in place of a test. A degree from an English-speaking university exempts you for the MSc and the IBBA.

The MiM page applies the same scores to English-speaking and non-English-speaking candidates. The Bachelor Year 3 page lists TOEIC 750 in one place and 785 in another.

Fees and how to apply

The MiM has 90 seats, with sessions year-round; the application fee is €50, or €500 for non-EU candidates. Listed tuition is €17,000 for the MSc (2027-28), €12,000 for the Pre-MSc year, €12,500 a year for the IBBA and €9,500 for Bachelor Year 3.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your EM Normandie programme page and in your offer, so check it there before you book a test.

Minimum vs competitive score

Where EM Normandie Business School publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.

Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.

If you are close to the line, aim for a margin above it: one weak skill can miss the requirement even when the overall band clears it. Not sure where you stand? Take a free IELTS mock test and get a band for each skill.
