From EUC's undergraduate, postgraduate and medicine, dentistry and veterinary admissions pages, which list the same tests.

Exemptions
A secondary school leaving certificate from a school taught in English, or a bachelor's degree from an institution where English is the language of instruction, also proves English. British, Canadian, Australian, US and New Zealand nationals are exempt. Duolingo is not listed.
EUC says an internationally recognised English qualification is compulsory for non-EU applicants applying for a student visa to study in Cyprus.

Placement test and deposit
Applicants without proof can take EUC's online English Placement Test, which places them in English support courses. This option is closed to medicine, dentistry and veterinary applicants, the Frankfurt campus and non-EU students applying for a Cypriot visa. Non-EU students pay a €3,000 tuition deposit for visa purposes after acceptance.
Requirements vary by programme and change between intakes. The score that binds you is the one on your EUC programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where European University Cyprus (EUC) publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
