Test rules and how to send your score
Franklin says English proficiency scores must be less than two years old and asks for an official score report. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core or a Pearson institution code.
On the same page, IELTS is 5.5 overall with 5.5 in each section for undergraduates and 6.0 with 6.0 in each section for US graduate and doctoral study. PTE has an overall figure only, so 53 matches IELTS 5.5 and 57 matches IELTS 6.0.

If you fall short
Students whose scores meet the undergraduate minimum but fall below the graduate one may meet the graduate requirement by completing an ESL Pathway Program in their first semester of a Franklin graduate programme. Franklin also gives its own Accuplacer ESL exams, free on the first attempt at its testing centre or through its online proctoring provider.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Franklin programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
