Undergraduates can also meet the requirement through the IB Diploma with Higher Level English at grade 5, two college English composition courses at C or above, an SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing score of 550, or four full years of US secondary school.

For graduate study, Furman says official TOEFL or IELTS scores must be sent directly by the testing institute and be no more than two years old.
