Student visa applicants who are not nationals of, and do not hold a degree from, a country on the UKVI exemption list must provide a standardised test.

GSA's entry requirements page separately lists GCSE English at grade A/7 in the standard entry requirements for most undergraduate programmes. That is an academic requirement for UK applicants, not a test score.

If your offer needs better English, GSA runs a pre-sessional called English for Creative Disciplines for applicants holding a conditional offer. The pages say applications will open later in the year, with no date or entry scores given yet.

For a Student visa, UK Visas and Immigration asks for English at CEFR B2 for degree-level study and B1 below degree level, per gov.uk. At degree level, gov.uk adds, your university can assess your English itself, but the level must still be equivalent to B2.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your GSA programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
