Goldsmiths' Duolingo rules
The page lists the test as the Duolingo Test of English with a validity of two years. It gives no Duolingo figure for programmes requiring IELTS 5.5.

If your Duolingo score is short
Goldsmiths also accepts other evidence in place of a test, including a UK degree, a degree taught in English from a UKVI-defined majority English-speaking country, or a transcript showing at least one year of study in such a country.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Goldsmiths programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
