Waivers, validity and timing
MIBIM and Tourism Futures Studies accept an official document showing either a school-leaving certificate from an English-speaking school or a professionally qualifying degree of at least three years with English-language coursework and exams, totalling at least 180 ECTS. The page says no other tests or forms of proof are accepted.
The Applied AI page says proof must not be older than four years at the application deadline. It also says admission is conditional if you cannot send proof with the application. For MIBIM and Tourism Futures Studies the page says proof must arrive by the deadline and cannot be submitted later.
MIBIM and Tourism Futures Studies have a 15 July deadline. Applied AI opens applications mid-November (to 15 January) and mid-May (to 15 July). The AI page lists a €1,500 fee for non-EU and non-EEA students.

How to check
The programmes also need a strong first degree, for example 210 ECTS and a German average of 2.5 or better for MIBIM. Read the full admission page for your programme and the admission regulations it links to.
English requirements in Germany are set per programme and can change between intakes. The score that binds you is the one on your Heilbronn University programme page and in your admission letter, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Heilbronn) publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
If you are close to the line, aim for a margin above it: one weak skill can miss the requirement even when the overall band clears it. Not sure where you stand? Take a free IELTS mock test and get a band for each skill.
