What Duolingo score do you need for Henley Business School?

Henley Business School accepts the Duolingo English Test for direct entry to undergraduate, taught postgraduate and research programmes, except Speech and Language Therapy. Its MSc Management asks for IELTS 6.5 with no component below 5.5. University of Reading's equivalence table for that level asks for Duolingo 125 with no sub score below 100. Henley Duolingo minimums by IELTS level

Henley programme pages state an IELTS level, such as on the MSc Management page, and send you to Reading's accepted English tests pages for equivalents. Sub scores are Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening.

How Henley handles Duolingo scores

The MSc Management page says Henley accepts Duolingo and the non-SELT LanguageCert for direct entry to undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research programmes, except Speech and Language Therapy.

Under its Duolingo line, Reading's IELTS 6.0 page adds that the test is acceptable only if you do not need a student visa or are taking a degree-level programme or above.

For comparison, MSc Management asks for IELTS 6.5 with no component below 5.5, matched to Duolingo 125 on Reading's table.

If your Duolingo score is below the line

Reading runs a Pre-sessional English Programme for students who need to meet their degree's language requirement. Its accepted tests page lists Duolingo as acceptable for the online Pre-sessional English Programme only, and the result must be no more than two years old at your course start date.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Henley programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
